3-D Glasses For Kids

My 3 year old son and I are movie lovers and I am looking for toddler
sized, polarized 3D glasses.  I can't seem to find smaller sized
glasses anywhere. The adult sizes tend to slip off of his face, which,
he pushes back with greasy, buttered hands, making the lenses very
dirty.  Help!

This almost had us stumped. We couldn't find any "real" 3-D glasses that were made for kids and were polarized (apparently what you need for 3-D movies. Hilary thinks you should go ahead and buy a couple pairs of adult-sized plastic ones and some croakies to keep them on your son's head. Or, some adult ones and some duct tape!

Great idea. Thanks. But unfortunately, for the little ones, the top part of the frame of adult size glasses rests almost directly in front of their eyes. So they have to tip their heads back to see out of them properly. I'm trying to make something that will go under the "nose rest" of a pair of glasses...unless you know of something that has already been made. This way the glasses are raised so the toddler can look through the center of the lenses, instead of seeing half lens half frame. -Scott

tip o’ the week: Super Easy Mac 'n Cheese

April 27, 2009 4:46 AM Filed Under: RECIPES TIP O' THE WEEK

Last year Hilary bought Alyssa's daughter a cookbook and Annabelle has spent the better part of the year perfecting the cookbook's macaroni and cheese recipe. Here's her version--the first one the children like that doesn't come out of a box and doesn't involve some sort of flourescent orange substance. The topping is our own special addition...but be forewarned: you won't be able to stop at one bite!
