41st birthday in NYC.we're getting old but want to feel young. looking for a fun dinnerplace -good food- entertainment. help! thanks- you guys are great.
We have one word for you: karaoke. Seriously. We're addicted. Start your night with dinner at Zarela for great mexican food, great atmosphere, and most importantly, great margaritas. Then head around the corner to Duets on 48th Street...we PROMISE you you'll have a blast. Be sure to reserve a room ahead of time, and get your play list ready in your mind (think ABBA, Neil Diamond, Grease...the queerer the better). Have a great night out!

Last year Hilary bought Alyssa's daughter a cookbook and Annabelle has spent the better part of the year perfecting the cookbook's macaroni and cheese recipe. Here's her version--the first one the children like that doesn't come out of a box and doesn't involve some sort of flourescent orange substance. The topping is our own special addition...but be forewarned: you won't be able to stop at one bite!
