I need to buy a new mattress. The choice is overwhelming, and I don't have time to research. Any suggestions?

Alyssa loves her Tempur-Pedic mattress so much "she wants to marry it!" Of course, that's news to her husband. It's totally changed the way she thinks about mattresses--once upon a time, she thought those big fluffy beds at fancy hotels were the best. Now when she goes on vacation, she misses her own bed more than anything else! BTW, 1-800-MATTRES is going out of business so try Sleepy's. Tempur-Pedic mattresses are the same price everywhere!

Any idea where I can buy a library card catalog, other than eBay?

Call Olde Good Things. They sell just that--old, good things. They have a couple of locations and a huge warehouse filled with stuff and if they don't have what you are looking for in stock, they'll call you just as soon as they get it. Take a look at the odd and unusual section because you never know when you're gonna need an antique butter churn or a giant clam shell.

Do you have any favorite furniture catalogs that are decent quality and style but not crazy expensive?

Where can I buy a really sturdy attractive folding table? I may have to leave it up in my apartment for months and I don't like table cloths.

Design Within Reach has a super sturdy, sleek, aluminum folding table. Hilary just bought her second one after someone in her building swiped it. It's not inexpensive, but it easily passes for a real piece of furniture.
