Could you help out with a summer camp recommendation? My daughter will be twelve and wants to go to a two week sleep away. She is into sports but also loves the usual camp stuff"...water skiing, arts and crafts and a good tribal war. Is it possible in two weeks? Thanks.

We'd suggest two things: first of all, talk to your friends and neighbors to get an idea of what their children do and whether or not they like the programs and why. File this all in the back of your mind when you visit New York Family's Camp Fairs. They have seven of them scheduled throughout the fall/winter and it's a great chance to meet representatives from a wide range of day/sleepaway/NYC/suburban camps.
