Do you know where I can get a wheel fixed on a Maclaren stroller?
Your best bet is to take it to the new Maclaren Showroom and Service Center in Soho. Let us know what it costs you--or if you ended up buying a new stroller (BTDT!).
Do you have any good sites to order birth announcements from? I've looked though most of the common ones but thought you might know some unique ones.
You probably know Stationery Studio, Tiny Prints, and Fine Stationery--a few others we like for all kinds of stationery are: lemontreepaperie
iomoi (you can use any card into a birth announcement--their quality is wonderful)

And if you're just sitting around waiting for that baby to arrive, take a look on etsy--you never know what you're gonna find there!
My son is getting too big for the bouncy seat. He can almost sit up. What's next?
We're not sure how we would have made it through those baby years without an Exersaucer. Sure, it's a hideous piece of plastic. But when you're baby's happy for 15 or 20 minutes...that piece of plastic becomes a lot more attractive. Alyssa's niece spent days at a time in a Jumperoo. Whether you're uptown or downtown, go to Giggle (they have stores on the UES and in Soho). They have our favorite selection of unique and fun baby items and they'll put it all together and tie it up with a big bow. More important, if you have no idea what to pick, they'll guide you along the way.
What can I buy as a baby gift for a family's fourth child? I want to spend about $125.
Buy something really ridiculous. Like a Po knee. But better yet, check out our baby gift list.
I want to take a CPR class before I give birth! Any good
recommendations? And how much should something like this cost?
Little Hearts CPR offers group and private sessions. A class costs around $75.00. Fake babies provided.
Last year Hilary bought Alyssa's daughter a cookbook and Annabelle has spent the better part of the year perfecting the cookbook's macaroni and cheese recipe. Here's her version--the first one the children like that doesn't come out of a box and doesn't involve some sort of flourescent orange substance. The topping is our own special addition...but be forewarned: you won't be able to stop at one bite! … [see more]
